(or ultimately a book - paper/hardback or books on tape)
Okay, so you are home. You can use your computer, or maybe you can use a recorder and speak your thoughts into the recorder to preserve them until they can be negotiated down to written, then readable, form (well, nowadays, they can be put into books on tape - though I personally never got into that - yet, I should say). Something I always enjoyed doing, from the time I was a child, was writing. I enjoyed writing stories, fact as well as fiction. I enjoyed keeping diaries. I enjoyed writing instructional manuals to teach others how to do various tasks, at work, around their home, with their children, etc. I realized once I was well enough to be at home, and I started to recover from my stroke, I had a lot to share with all of you that I should share. As I was prompted at home to encourage others to find ways to earn money from home, I did a lot of research to find ways to make money from home. I ran into things like becoming a virtual assistant, a lot of computer-related jobs, completing online surveys, bookkeeping and many more. But one thing that kept showing up time after time, article after article, was self publishing. This was not only something of interest to many others, but of specific interest to me! For me, the thought was first to start a blog - to start one about having a stroke, at an earlier age, and living, and figuring out what to do with the rest of my life - and sharing the knowledge and experience (and wisdom - my choice of word!!) with folks who could or should use it. It is not only about the stroke, but it is knowledge and experience that I have gained from being Peg...from growing up with my wonderful parents, Bob and Marty, and the knowledge and experience they shared with me for 50+ years, from my brothers, Bob and Don, from my husband, Tom, and from my daughter, Annie. Also, the knowledge and experience that I have gained from my friends growing up, my classmates, my bosses, my co-workers, my peers, and my professional acquaintances. So, I am about to start publishing (self-publishing) the first of these blogs (or maybe even an entire first book) and this is what I am learning about SELF-PUBLISHING eBOOKS as a side-hustle. (I learned the following from Amazon - be sure to research others and give appropriate credit.)
